Billings is the largest city in Montana and its growing by leaps and bounds. The 2000 Census estimated Billings population at 89,847, a 2006 estimate stated the city limits probably held more like 100,148. The metropolitan area is estimated to be somewhere around 180,000.
Billings is a great city to live in, with all the amenities you need and plenty of space to enjoy life. The economy of Billings serves a regional area stretching 500 miles around and somewhere near half a million people. It is also the county seat of Yellowstone County.

Education
Billings school district 2 operates 21 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three public high schools. There is also the Career Center which is for the more hands on high school students along with the Freshmen Academy located on the MSU College of Technology Campus.
There are several Higher Level Learning facilities in Billings. These Include states schools (Montana State University - Billings and The College of Technology) and private schools (Rocky Mountain College and Yellowstone Baptist College).
Tourism and Attractions
Billings is close to many of Montana's major tourist spots, including Yellowstone National Park, Red Lodge and Big Sky Resorts. Zoo Montana is on the outskirts of Billings and also the Little Bighorn National Monument is a close attraction.
